Join a dynamic team in the heart of the medieval town of Gruyères!

Located in the heart of one of Switzerland's most iconic tourist sites, La Table des Traditions welcomes Swiss and international clientele in an authentic and warm setting.

As part of the development of our establishment, we are looking for an experienced, meticulous and passionate Head Waiter/Waitress at 100% in the hospitality industry.

We wish to integrate a reliable, committed person into our team who is eager to invest long-term, with real prospects for advancement.

Your mission

• Provide professional, attentive and high-quality service to our clientele.
• Manage your section independently, from setup to the end of service.
• Welcome, advise and build loyalty with Swiss and international customers.
• Participate in organising and ensuring the smooth running of individual and group services.
• Work closely with the kitchen and the entire team.
• Ensure compliance with the establishment's quality, hygiene and organisational standards.
• Actively contribute to a positive, structured and professional working atmosphere.

Your profile

Training and experience:

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a restaurant specialist or equivalent training in hospitality, highly desirable.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in service after obtaining the diploma.
• For candidates without recognised training: minimum 10 years of confirmed experience in restaurant service.
• Excellent mastery of service techniques and ability to manage a section independently.

Language skills:

• Very good command of French.
• English mandatory to communicate with our international clientele.
• Any additional language is an asset.

Personal qualities:

• Neat appearance, welcoming manner and genuine service spirit.
• Seriousness, punctuality, reliability and sense of responsibility.
• Good stress management and ability to work efficiently during busy services.
• Autonomy, organisation, team spirit and constructive attitude.
• Willingness to progress professionally and take on more responsibilities.

Administrative conditions:

• Residence in Switzerland, ideally in the Bulle, Gruyères, Fribourg region or surroundings.
• Swiss nationality or valid work permit in Switzerland.
• Application with a C permit particularly appreciated.
