HVAC Service Technician (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a HVAC Service Technician for the independent maintenance of sophisticated building technology systems. You will undertake maintenance, service, and fault repair work and participate in conversions and new installations of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. In addition to systematic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting, you will identify optimisation potentials and support reliable and energy-efficient system operation. The role combines technical responsibility with a varied field of activity in the area of HVAC/building technology.
Responsibilities:
Performing maintenance, service, and repair work on HVAC systems
Independent fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of building technology systems
Execution and supervision of conversions and new installations of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
Monitoring system functions and operating parameters and ensuring reliable system operation
Conducting functional checks and commissioning after maintenance, repair, and conversion work
Identifying optimisation potentials regarding operational safety, energy efficiency, and system availability
Technical documentation of performed service, maintenance, and repair work
Coordinating ongoing service assignments and technical coordination within the service team
Maintaining building technology systems for commercial, industrial, and business clients
Organising required spare parts and consumables for maintenance and repair assignments
Participating in the on-call service at defined intervals and professionally handling urgent fault reports
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training EFZ in building technology/HVAC, for example as a heating installer, ventilation system builder, or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems
Solid knowledge in fault diagnosis, repair, and system optimisation
Experience with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and their technical components
Willingness to participate in the on-call service
Fluent German language skills in spoken and written form
Valid category B driving licence
