Stable systems: You ensure that business-critical IT functions reliably in everyday use and under high load.
Security in focus: You combine operational IT management with a high standard of protection, resilience and recoverability.
Technical depth: You work where classic administration ends – with complex faults, critical incidents and demanding infrastructure issues.
Shaping the future: Automation, cloud and AI are not just on your roadmap but sensibly integrated into daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Operations: Monitor productive systems, analyse performance, plan capacities and support releases.
Infrastructure: Operate, optimise and further develop servers, networks, cloud solutions and internal systems.
Security: Harden systems and networks, improve monitoring and advance security measures in regulated environments.
Resilience: Reliably establish and further develop backup & restore, disaster recovery and business continuity.
3rd level: Analyse complex technical errors, resolve production problems and technically escalate critical incidents.
Migration: Technically support infrastructure changes and migrations and sustainably resolve any faults that arise.
Standards: Consistently maintain documentation, processes and ISO-based security and quality requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: Completed IT training (EFZ, degree) or comparable qualification.
Operations: Several years of experience operating business-critical production systems.
Security: Solid know-how in system and network hardening, monitoring and incident response.
Governance: Experience with ISMS/CISO and ideally ISO 27001.
Linux & SQL: Confident handling of Linux, shell and SQL; experience with scripting or programming is an advantage.
Networking: Good knowledge of networks, firewalls, zoning and security architectures.
Cloud & clients: Experience with cloud solutions as well as macOS, Office 365 and Windows clients.
Troubleshooting: Extensive experience in 3rd level support and with complex technical faults.
Working style: Structured, responsible and solution-oriented – even when operations become critical.
Future: Interest in meaningful applications of AI and automation in operations and security.
German: Fluent
English: Good technical level
