Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, an established company in the financial services sector with locations in Zurich and Aarau, we are looking for an experienced individual as a Senior Accountant.
You will take on the ongoing accounting tasks for the group companies and be the internal contact for accounting and ERP-related queries. In this versatile position, you will work closely with a well-coordinated team and actively contribute to process improvements and system implementations.

Responsibilities:
You will take on ongoing accounting tasks for the group companies and be the internal contact for accounting and ERP-related queries
You will invoice standard fees and support the billing team in Cyprus
You will handle accounts payable (recording supplier invoices, visa control, creating payment runs, reconciling open item lists)
You will handle accounts receivable (dunning, posting incoming payments, maintaining dashboard, reconciling open item lists)
You will contribute to monthly and annual financial statements
You will prepare statistics and reports
You will take on special tasks and support ERP-related projects
Qualifications:
You have several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in the service sector
You have a commercial basic education supplemented by further training (e.g. clerk or specialist in finance and accounting)
You possess very good Abacus knowledge as well as good MS Office skills, especially Excel
You communicate confidently in German and very well in English, both spoken and written
You show interest in digital processes, work independently, structured and solution-oriented, and bring a high willingness to learn and perform
