Role:

A stable cloud does not arise by itself. It needs someone who thinks technology, security, and operations together. In this position, you take responsibility as a Cloud Engineer: Azure & PowerShell for a Microsoft Azure environment from planning to ongoing operation. You contribute ideas, implement them independently, and see directly the impact of your work. Hybrid scenarios, modern workplaces, and consistent automation make everyday work varied.

Responsibilities:

• You plan cloud migrations, technical changes, and lifecycle measures and implement them cleanly.

• You set up monitoring, alerting, and logging so that availability and performance are always ensured.

• You manage the Windows Server platform as well as central infrastructure services and provide virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.

• Furthermore, you manage roles, app registrations, and enterprise applications in Microsoft Entra ID and implement security requirements for identity and access.

• With PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), you automate processes and improve backup and recovery solutions.

• Additionally, you drive Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Microsoft Intune, and Windows 365 forward and optimise resources regarding cost and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Your foundation is several years of experience in engineering Azure and Windows environments, at least 3 years.

• You are confident navigating between IaaS and PaaS components and have practical knowledge of virtual machines, NSGs, and private networking.

• You are equally at home with identity topics such as Entra ID and role-based access control (RBAC) as with Windows Server and client infrastructures.

• Furthermore, you have already implemented infrastructure with Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform and enjoy automating with scripts.

• You understand network topics such as DNS, routing, VPN, and hybrid connections as well as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and concepts for backup and business continuity.

• Moreover, you work in a structured manner, keep a cool head with complex error patterns, and communicate confidently in German as well as effortlessly in English.
