Construction Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the management of demanding building construction projects with a workload of 80-100%. You will take on the local construction management from work preparation to acceptance and accompany diverse projects in new construction, conversion and shopfitting. In doing so, you coordinate contractors and specialist planners and ensure compliance with quality, deadlines and costs. The role offers comprehensive project responsibility and close collaboration with clients, architects and other project participants.
Responsibilities:
Independent local construction management of building construction projects in new construction, conversion and shopfitting
Coordination and supervision of construction execution from construction preparation to acceptance and handover
Leadership and coordination of contractors, tradespeople and site personnel
Creation, maintenance and control of construction programmes, schedules and workflows
Ongoing monitoring of quality, costs and deadlines and initiation of measures in case of deviations
Coordination of interfaces between clients, architecture, specialist planning and executing companies
Conducting and documenting construction meetings, site inspections and execution controls
Checking of quantities, extra work, change orders and contractor invoices
Support of tenders and awards as well as assistance in the technical evaluation of contractor offers
Ensuring execution in accordance with contracts, plans, SIA standards and quality requirements
Organisation and execution of acceptances, defect management and warranty work
Maintenance of construction documentation and project controlling throughout the entire execution process
Qualifications:
Degree as certified construction manager, certified technician HF construction planning/construction management or comparable construction-technical further education
Several years of professional experience as construction manager, site manager or in a comparable role in building construction
Sound knowledge in construction management, project management, scheduling and cost control
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards, Swiss construction processes and contract basics
Confident handling of common office and construction administration programmes
Good German language skills spoken and written
Driving licence category B
