Main mission

Program series and prototypes which you will then set up on 3 and 5-axis CNC machining centres for the manufacture of watch movement components, ensuring dimensional conformity, micrometric tolerances and production rates.

Responsibilities

• Program using Alphacam software.

• Set up CNC machines with Heidenhain, Fanuc and Beckhoff controls (axis settings, tool corrections, feed rates, cutting parameters) and independently start production runs.

• Carry out dimensional and quality self-checks (calipers, dial gauges, coordinate measuring machines) and correct deviations in real time.

• Perform level 1 maintenance (tool changes, cleaning, lubrication) and report breakdowns to maintenance technicians.

• Optimise cycle times and contribute to the continuous improvement of machining processes in collaboration with programmers and methods teams.

• Ensure production traceability (process sheets, tracking forms, quality records).

Profile sought

• Proven experience in programming with Alphacam.

• Expertise in setting up and operating 3 and 5-axis CNC milling machines on movement components (small series, prototypes, high precision).

• In-depth knowledge of machining centres, with a plus for Willemin Macodel, Bumotec and GF HSM (settings, start-ups, quick changes).

• Vocational diploma (CFC) as a polymechanic, micromechanic or equivalent, with 3-5 years of experience in watchmaking CNC programming.

• Meticulous, rigorous and able to work independently within a technical team, with a strong sense of responsibility.

• Excellent mastery of reading and understanding watchmaking technical drawings, including fine tolerances and functional specifications.

• Strong interest in luxury watchmaking, motivated by technical excellence and process optimisation.
