Responsibilities:
In this key position, you ensure sustainable financial management and create transparency for important strategic and operational decisions.
You are responsible for the entire budgeting and accounting process and further develop short- and long-term financial planning for various areas of responsibility.
In addition to the classic closing tasks, you deal with financial special topics and ensure forward-looking planning of available resources.
Leading a well-coordinated finance team is part of your role, as is organising efficient processes and further developing the department.
With your knowledge, you actively contribute to projects and financial policy issues and serve as an important interface between administration and decision-makers.
Qualifications:
You have several years of experience in finance and accounting in a municipality, public administration, or comparable public-law organisation.
You have deepened your expertise in public finance and accounting according to HRM2 through appropriate further education at the university of applied sciences level or a comparable qualification.
You bring experience in budgeting, financial planning, and year-end closing processes as well as sound knowledge of public accounting according to HRM2.
You have already led employees or are ready to apply your leadership skills in a responsible position.
You have fluent German language skills.
