In this role, as an IT Support Specialist, you take responsibility for smooth IT operations and competently support users with technical concerns. You analyse faults, implement suitable solutions and ensure that hardware and software function reliably. You also accompany installations, updates and configurations, actively contributing to the optimisation of the IT environment. With your professional demeanour, you ensure clear communication and build trust in IT services. As an experienced professional, you apply your know-how purposefully to ensure the continuous availability and quality of IT support.
Responsibilities:
- You receive support requests at 1st and 2nd level, process them, document them and coordinate with 3rd level support from external partners if necessary
- In this role, you support employees with hardware and software issues including installation, configuration and maintenance of clients, peripherals and mobile hardware
- As an IT Support Specialist, you carry out hardware replacements and fault rectifications and monitor system availability and performance using appropriate monitoring tools
- You manage user accounts during onboarding, offboarding and changes, and maintain and administer the M365 tenant
- In this role, you participate in AI projects and support departments in implementing AI-supported automations
- As an IT Support Specialist, you work on IT projects focusing on Microsoft technologies such as M365, Entra ID and Windows and create and maintain technical documentation, instructions and training materials
Qualifications:
- You have completed training in IT (EFZ IT specialist in platform development or ICT specialist).
- You communicate clearly, patiently and with pleasure when dealing with users.
- You work service-oriented, independently and in a structured manner.
- Ideally, you have professional experience in IT support or a comparable role.
- You have very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, Intune, SharePoint, Admin Center) and are familiar with Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy Management and ideally Windows server administration.
- You have very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills to support international users.
