Network & Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN® partner is the contact for large-scale telecommunications services. The customer is always the focus, as is the service offered. It is of utmost importance to our partner to serve the customers' needs optimally.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the implementation, monitoring and optimisation of security solutions in networks, including firewalls, VPNs and DDoS protection
Development and implementation of security architectures, analysis and resolution of security incidents
Operation and optimisation of IP networks and access platforms (FTTH, HFC), advising internal teams on IT security topics
Creation of security documentation, support of 2nd-level support and conducting training sessions
Qualifications:
Completed studies in computer science or IT security or comparable IT training
Several years of experience as a network engineer, ideally in the provider environment and in IT security, with in-depth knowledge of MPLS, BGP and OSPF
Analytical and solution-oriented working style as well as strong communication skills to convey complex topics clearly
Willingness to work on-call duty and night shifts
Very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
