Reporting directly to the CEO and a member of the Executive Committee, the Human Resources Manager oversees the entire HR function for an industrial company with around one hundred employees. A true partner to the Management, he/she supports the company’s transformation, team development, and the structuring of HR processes while maintaining a strong on-the-ground presence.

This position covers the entire HR scope, from personnel administration to strategic projects, in an environment where pragmatism, responsiveness, and the ability to support change are essential.
Responsibilities
Strategic partnership and support to Management
- Advise the CEO and members of the Executive Committee on all HR matters.
- Define and implement the HR strategy in line with the company’s objectives.
- Support organisational transformations and company development projects.
- Produce and analyse HR indicators to inform management decisions.
- Actively contribute to reflections on corporate culture, employee engagement, and collective performance.
Human relations and support for managers
- Advise and support department heads in managing their teams.
- Manage complex individual situations and labour relations.
- Ensure disciplinary follow-up and conflict management when necessary.
- Support managers in their management practices and employee development.
- Promote a healthy and constructive social climate.
Recruitment and integration
- Manage the entire recruitment process for operational, technical, and administrative profiles.
- Define sourcing strategies adapted to the company’s needs.
- Conduct interviews and support managers in their decisions.
- Develop and implement integration programmes to ensure successful onboarding.
Talent development and training
- Develop and manage the annual training plan.
- Identify skills development needs in collaboration with managers.
- Implement development pathways adapted to the company’s business challenges.
- Support personnel reviews, succession plans, and employee progression.
- Develop performance management processes and annual appraisals.
HR administration and legal compliance
- Oversee all personnel administration throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance of contracts, regulations, procedures, and HR practices with Swiss labour law.
- Monitor work permits, certificates, and mandatory documents.
- Manage relationships with external organisations, administrations, and social partners.
- Ensure the application of agreements, legal obligations, and internal policies.
Candidate profile
- Higher education in Human Resources, Labour Law, Economics, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in a generalist HR role in Switzerland with full exposure to all HR issues.
- Proven experience in an industrial, manufacturing, technical, or operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of Swiss labour law and social security.
- Experience collaborating with an external payroll provider.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in an SME with a strong on-the-ground presence.
- Experience in supporting change and structuring an HR function.
