When working in the Polyclinic at Circle (outpatient time):
Additional rotation in prison possible:
Assistant Physicians (m/f/d) in the General Internal Medicine Rotation Programme 80-100%
by arrangement
Your Main Tasks
- Care of inpatient and outpatient internal medicine patients under the supervision of a senior physician
- Provision of consultation services under the supervision of a senior physician
- Medical reporting and performance of administrative tasks
- Participation in reports and journal club
- Introduction of newly joining assistant physicians
When working in the Polyclinic at Circle (outpatient time):
- Care of outpatient internal medicine patients in the medical polyclinic: in the general consultation, in the specialist consultation for obesity and hypertension, for inflammation and rare diseases, as well as in the occupational health service (PAD)
Additional rotation in prison possible:
- Care of outpatient internal medicine patients in the Zurich District Prison (BGZ)
- Care of outpatient internal medicine patients in the Pöschwies Correctional Facility
Your Profile
- One to two years of experience in General Internal Medicine in a Swiss hospital. See also https://www.usz.ch/fachbereich/innere-medizin/ueber-uns/facharztausbildung/
- Good qualifications and positive references, ideally from a hospital of training category A or B
- Knowledge of German (spoken and written) minimum C1 according to EU standards as well as recognition of your training and language by MEBEKO https://www.bag.admin.ch/de/gesuche-einreichen-fuer-auslaendische-abschluesse-der-medizinal-und-psychologieberufe
- You have a quick grasp, are a team player and remain calm and keep an overview even in hectic situations.
