Architect / Interior Architect

About the job

As part of the development of its activities, VIRUS ARCHITECTURE is immediately seeking a versatile, creative and passionate architect or interior architect, wishing to be involved in all phases of a project, from its design to its completion.

The projects developed combine architecture, renovation and interior design, with particular attention paid to aesthetics, materials, construction details and quality of execution.

Your responsibilities

• Participate in architectural design and project development.
• Create preliminary plans, technical drawings, construction details and execution plans.
• Develop 3D models, photorealistic renderings and project presentations.
• Research and select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and equipment.
• Engage in communications with clients, suppliers and various stakeholders.
• Ensure coordination of contractors, meetings and site supervision.
• Participate in the administrative and financial management of projects: monitoring offers, awards, invoices and cost control using Excel spreadsheets.
• Oversee projects in their entirety, from the initial sketch to the final details of realisation.

Your profile

• Training in architecture or interior architecture.
• Good command of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape and Photoshop.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Aesthetic sensitivity, creativity and attention to detail. Strong interest in materials, products, furniture, design and technical solutions.
• Knowledge of manufacturers and products in the sector is appreciated, or a genuine curiosity and desire to discover them.
• Ability to understand and develop construction details and technical solutions.
• Interest in new technologies and thoughtful and appropriate use of artificial intelligence tools, with a genuine critical mindset and the ability to maintain control over architectural and technical choices.
• Autonomy, rigour, organisational skills and ease in relationships with clients and contractors.
• Ability to anticipate difficulties, propose suitable solutions and take initiatives throughout the project.
• Desire to be involved both in the design and the practical realisation of projects.
