IT System Administrator (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner is an owner-managed Swiss IT company that supports small and medium-sized enterprises as an IT general contractor throughout the entire infrastructure lifecycle – from the local server landscape through managed services to complete outsourcing in a highly secure, geo-redundant data centre. Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the stable and secure operation of IT systems and infrastructures. You plan, implement, and maintain system landscapes, analyse faults, and ensure their efficient resolution. You also evaluate and integrate new technologies to continuously optimise the system environment. As a professional in system technology, you bring your experience in standardising and automating processes and thus contribute significantly to the quality of the entire IT environment.
Responsibilities:
You manage the planning, installation, and maintenance of internal and customer-side IT infrastructures
For stable operation, you take on deployment, patch management, and the management of the data centre
Together with the team, you optimise IT processes and actively participate in IT projects
In 1st and 2nd level support, you support users remotely and on-site
You also create and maintain technical documentation
Qualifications:
Solid experience in IT administration and technical support as well as good knowledge of Microsoft, Hyper-V, HPE servers, and Microsoft 365
Knowledge of PowerShell and SQL is an advantage
You are reliable, independent, a team player and hold a category B driving licence
You have excellent written and spoken German, complemented by good English skills; willingness for on-call duty is required
