Project Manager Ventilation (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an experienced and customer-oriented specialist to independently manage demanding ventilation and air conditioning system projects. You will take on the technical and commercial overall responsibility for diverse execution orders and accompany these from the initial project takeover through work preparation and installation to successful handover. The focus is on economic project management, coordination of internal and external project participants, and professional supervision of installation and execution quality. The position combines sound building technology expertise, many years of experience in plant construction, and entrepreneurial project management with practical collaboration with installation personnel, architects, and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Independent management of demanding ventilation and air conditioning system projects from order acceptance through execution to successful handover

• Assuming technical and commercial overall responsibility for assigned projects including economic control and ensuring proper implementation

• Organisation and execution of the entire work preparation focusing on installation planning, material disposition, resource requirements, and efficient execution processes

• Coordination and control of all project and installation processes considering technical requirements, contractual specifications, and operational quality standards

• Professional leadership and support of installation personnel as well as close collaboration with project management assistants and internal specialist departments

• Supervision of installation and construction execution on site to ensure high-quality and timely installation of ventilation and air conditioning systems

• Responsibility for compliance with project budgets, execution deadlines, and quality requirements as well as early identification and handling of deviations

• Coordination of interfaces with architecture, construction management, and other building services trades to ensure smooth construction and installation processes

• Technical advice and ongoing coordination with clients, architects, and specialist planners on project-specific requirements and constructive issues

• Review and coordination of technical execution documents and installation plans as well as support in developing practical and economical system solutions

• Accompanying functional tests, commissioning, and technical acceptance including quality control of execution and follow-up of open points

• Organisation and execution of project completions and handovers including necessary documentation, final inspection, and coordination with clients

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a building services planner EFZ specialising in ventilation or a comparable recognised qualification in ventilation and air conditioning technology; specialised further training is an advantage

• Several years of solid professional experience in planning and executing ventilation and air conditioning system projects with proven practice in building services plant construction

• Experience in independent project management and economic handling of execution orders including work preparation, installation coordination, and monitoring of costs, deadlines, and quality

• Sound technical knowledge of modern ventilation and air conditioning systems as well as a strong understanding of installation processes, structural interfaces, and practical system solutions

• Confident use of MS Office and basic CAD user skills as well as openness to digital project management and planning tools

• Independent, structured, and practical working style with a high sense of responsibility, entrepreneurial thinking, organisational talent, and strong team skills

• Good to very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as communication strength, customer orientation, and a confident, professional manner towards clients, architects, specialist planners, and installation personnel
