Role:
In this role, you will independently design and manage complex projects in the field of IT infrastructure and be responsible for the strategic further development of existing systems. You analyse requirements from various departments, develop sustainable solution concepts, and coordinate their implementation with interdisciplinary teams. You always keep an overview of time, budget, and quality and act as the central contact person for technical decision-makers. With your solid expertise, you recognise technological trends early and integrate them sensibly into project planning. You contribute decisively to realising stable and future-oriented IT solutions in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- You install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat) as well as container platforms such as Kubernetes, ensuring their stability and performance
- In this role, you manage web, application, and database servers and ensure smooth operation
- You develop and maintain automation scripts with Ansible, Bash, and Python for efficient system administration
- As a Linux Systems Engineering Specialist, you are responsible for the complete lifecycle management of the systems
- You continuously analyse existing infrastructures and identify potentials for process optimisation and automation
- You document the system landscape and relevant processes in a structured and comprehensible manner
Qualifications:
- You have sound knowledge and practical experience with Linux operating systems, especially Red Hat
- Container orchestration with Kubernetes is ideally already familiar to you
- Your scripting skills in Ansible, Bash, and Python are mature and practice-oriented
- You work confidently and efficiently with common Linux tools
- You convince with team spirit, commitment, and a cooperative manner
- A structured, solution-oriented mindset as well as business fluent German and good English skills complete your profile
