Role:
Security platforms only run reliably if someone consistently maintains them. As a Security Operations Engineer, you ensure the stable round-the-clock operation of the sensors that enable detection and response services. You move between operations, automation, and security, bringing both worlds together. You can expect a dynamic environment with plenty of scope for creativity and a team that counts on your experience.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the continuous operation of the cyber defence platforms and keep availability and performance in view.
In 1st and 2nd level support, you handle incidents, changes, and releases.
Furthermore, you coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal specialist teams.
You drive automation and scaling of the systems and optimise existing processes.
Additionally, you further develop monitoring and lifecycle management of the supported services.
You also occasionally take on on-call duties within the team.
Qualifications:
You have completed an IT education and have several years of experience in application management.
You are familiar with building and operating IT services including monitoring and automation.
Experience with endpoint detection and vulnerability management solutions such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or comparable platforms distinguishes you.
You feel confident working with Linux and Windows Terminal Server.
Furthermore, you convince through service and customer orientation as well as an active, solution-oriented working style.
You also communicate fluently in German and express yourself clearly in English, both orally and in writing.
