Building platforms that make developers faster: We are looking for an experienced engineering personality who combines cloud-native technologies with automation, architecture, and developer experience. Those who want to not only operate Kubernetes but also shape modern platform standards will find a technically challenging field of activity here.
Responsibilities:
Technical development of a modern cloud-native platform across cloud and on-premises environments
Development of scalable platform components for software engineering and business IT teams
Building standardized internal developer platforms with self-service functions and reusable modules
Design of Kubernetes-based runtime environments and containerised workloads
Development of modern CI/CD and deployment strategies for fast and secure software releases
Automation of recurring infrastructure and operational processes with infrastructure as code
Building reusable Terraform modules, platform templates, and engineering standards
Evaluation of new technologies through proofs of concept, prototypes, and MVPs
Transition of successful innovations into robust productive solutions
Optimisation of developer workflows, toolchains, and development environments
Further development of cloud security, networking, and platform governance
Use of service mesh technologies for traffic management, security, and observability
Promotion of GitOps, DevSecOps, and platform engineering best practices
Development of automation solutions with Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell
Investigation of the potential of AI-supported engineering and LLM-based agents
Technical exchange with cloud, security, architecture, and software engineering teams
Active shaping of engineering standards and technological target architectures
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure engineering
Solid practical experience with Kubernetes and containerised platforms
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Terraform
Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
Sound understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security
Experience with infrastructure as code and automated provisioning processes
Programming or scripting experience with Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell
Understanding of modern software delivery models and DevSecOps
Ideally experience with service mesh, for example Istio or Linkerd
Interest in generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents in the engineering environment
Strong architectural understanding and enthusiasm for technical decisions
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
High degree of personal responsibility, enthusiasm for innovation, and strong engineering standards
