Role:
Good platforms arise where development and operations pull together. It is exactly at this interface that you start as a Platform Specialist OpenShift & GitOps (Junior) and get to know the daily routine around OpenShift and modern container technologies. Experienced engineers will take you along and openly share their knowledge. Your ideas for automation are expressly welcome here. With every project, your scope of action grows.
Responsibilities:
You support development teams in containerising their applications, rolling them out cleanly, and operating them stably.
You automate recurring processes and deployments step by step together with the team.
You contribute to the operation and further development of the container platform as well as central DevOps components.
Furthermore, you optimise pipelines for build, test, and release and ensure reliable processes.
In case of disruptions, you investigate the causes and develop viable solutions together with senior colleagues.
Additionally, you take care of monitoring and logging, keep documentation up to date, and coordinate closely with architecture, IT security, and development.
Qualifications:
You bring initial professional experience in system, software, cloud, or DevOps environments.
You have already worked practically with Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
You are familiar with the basics of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) and feel confident working with Git.
Moreover, you are interested in the topic of GitOps. Contact with Tekton, ArgoCD, TeamCity, or similar tools is an advantage.
You have ideally already become acquainted with tools like Sentry or ELK for monitoring and logging.
Furthermore, you are enthusiastic about automation and security, approach new things with curiosity, and enjoy working in a team. You communicate confidently in German and can easily read English technical literature.
