For our client, an established Swiss industrial company in the Sursee LU area, we are looking for an independent, technically strong and solution-oriented personality as an Automation Technician / Maintenance Technician Automation 80-100% (m/f).
In this role, you will maintain modern production facilities, analyse technical faults and ensure that electrical, control and automation systems function reliably.
- Analysis and rectification of electrical, control and automation technical faults
- Support of sensors, actuators, drives, control cabinets and control components
- Assistance with optimisations, conversions, expansions and commissioning
- Conducting functional tests, trials and technical adjustments
- Reading, checking and updating electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Participation in preventive maintenance measures
- Collaboration with production, technical, engineering and external service departments
- Documentation of completed work and technical findings
- Experience in automation, industrial electrical work, maintenance or technical support is an advantage
- Good understanding of electrical systems, controls, sensors, drive technology and control cabinets
- PLC knowledge, for example Siemens S7 / TIA Portal, is an advantage
- Ability to read electrical schematics and systematically analyse faults
- Knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics or mechanics is a plus
- Independent, reliable and structured working style
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written
- Willingness for day shifts, on-call duty or shift work, depending on the area of deployment

Profile
- Completed training as an automation technician, automatic assembly technician, electrician, electronics technician, industrial electrician or comparable technical education- Experience in automation, industrial electrical work, maintenance or technical support is an advantage
