IT Security Governance & Operations Manager (m/f/d)
Role:
Our client operates a complex IT landscape with high demands on information security, availability, and data protection. As part of the security organisation, you ensure that binding requirements are not only defined but effectively implemented and continuously reviewed in everyday IT operations. You assess risks, further develop security processes, and contribute both to strategic architectural issues and operational topics such as security monitoring, awareness, and emergency preparedness. The position offers you a great deal of personal responsibility and close collaboration with various IT teams.
Responsibilities:
Management and monitoring of the ISMS as well as implementation of relevant information security and data protection processes
Assessment of security risks and vulnerabilities as well as derivation and prioritisation of effective countermeasures
Control of compliance with security policies and preparation of reports on risk status and effectiveness of measures
Support in the further development of security governance and enterprise security architecture
Coordination with IT departments to implement security requirements and escalation of critical deviations
Participation in the further development of SOC services, use cases, and vulnerability management
Management of security awareness measures and IT emergency preparedness
Qualifications:
Completed degree in computer science at university of applied sciences level with a focus on IT security or an equivalent qualification
Several years of practical experience in information security, especially in ISMS and enterprise security architecture
Sound understanding of security governance, IT security processes, and technical protective measures
Analytical and solution-oriented working style with a strong risk awareness
Ability to communicate complex matters clearly and to consistently enforce security requirements
High personal responsibility, accuracy, and the ability to prioritise even in demanding situations
Good German language skills, both spoken and written
