Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Residential Construction & Site Management (80-100%) for the comprehensive management of individual new build, conversion and interior construction projects. You will accompany the construction projects from planning and work preparation through execution to acceptance and handover, taking responsibility for costs, deadlines and quality. The focus is on site management, contractor coordination and direct client support as well as the constructive implementation of high-quality residential concepts. The position combines architecture, residential construction and interior finishing with practical project and site management.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for residential, conversion and interior construction projects from planning to handover
Independent assumption of local site management and coordination of all execution work
Control and monitoring of costs, deadlines, quality and construction progress
Coordination of clients, specialist planners, contractors and tradespeople
Organisation, leadership and minute-taking of construction and coordination meetings
Creation and updating of schedule and construction progress plans
Preparation and execution of tenders, offer comparisons and awards
Review of offers, measurements, change orders and contractor invoices
Technical coordination of interfaces between architecture, timber construction, interior finishing and building services engineering
Support of the client in material selection, sampling and execution decisions
Conducting quality controls, acceptance and defect management
Organisation of construction acceptance, documentation and key handover
Qualifications:
Completed training in construction, timber construction or architecture, ideally with further education as site manager, technician HF or equivalent
Several years of professional experience in project or site management in Swiss building construction
Sound knowledge of residential construction, conversion and construction execution
Experience in cost control, scheduling, tendering and awarding
Good knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, construction processes and execution standards
Confident handling of construction administration and Microsoft 365 applications
Very good German language skills spoken and written
