Project Manager HVAC (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Project Manager in Building Services Engineering HF with a focus on heating or sanitary for an established company in building services planning and the HVAC sector. You will independently plan, design, and manage demanding building services projects across all relevant SIA phases. The focus is on the technical design of heating and sanitary systems, CAD planning, cost control, and coordination with clients, architects, and specialist planners. Additionally, you will be involved in customer care, project acquisition, and the further development of sustainable building services solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Project management in building services: Independently leading and handling demanding heating or sanitary projects from concept development to commissioning

• Project planning according to SIA: Responsible for technical planning and project execution across relevant SIA phases 31-53

• CAD and specialist planning: Creating and coordinating project, execution, installation, and detail plans using industry-specific CAD software

• Technical system planning: Designing, calculating, and dimensioning heating, heat distribution, or sanitary systems according to the respective specialisation

• Energy and building technology: Developing economical and energy-efficient system concepts considering heat pumps, renewable energies, and sustainable building technology

• Coordination of specialist planners: Aligning building services planning with architects, structural engineers, electrical planners, and other HVAC disciplines

• Tendering and cost estimation: Preparing specifications, cost estimates, tender documents, and offer comparisons

• Cost and schedule management: Monitoring project budgets, planning deadlines, resources, and technical quality requirements

• Execution supervision: Coordinating technical implementation, reviewing contractor documents, and accompanying installation inspections, commissioning, and acceptance

• Customer and project acquisition: Managing existing clients, acquiring new customers and projects, and preparing fee offers and technical project proposals

• Standards and quality assurance: Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, SVGW guidelines, and cantonal energy regulations, as applicable to the respective discipline

Qualifications:

• Completed further education as a certified technician HF in building services engineering with a specialisation in heating or sanitary, or comparable technical qualification

• Several years of professional experience in building services planning and project management of heating or sanitary systems

• Sound knowledge of the Swiss SIA planning phases as well as relevant SIA standards and industry-specific regulations

• Very good CAD skills, for example in AutoCAD, Revit, Plancal nova, or comparable building services software

• Experience in technical dimensioning, tendering, cost estimation, and cost planning of building services systems

• Knowledge in project calculation, fee offers, customer acquisition, and business management basics

• Very good German language skills for technical project management, customer care, and project documentation
