Payroll Accountant (m/f/d)

Role:
The national university is a specialised educational and research institution focusing on vocational education and training in Switzerland. It qualifies teachers, vocational education managers, and other professionals, develops educational offerings further, and conducts applied research in the field of vocational education. Responsibilities:
You ensure reliable payroll processing for the employees of EHB and independently and punctually process salaries and fees.
All declarations and year-end tasks in the payroll area are your responsibility.
For the correct reconciliation of monthly and annual accounts, you work closely with the financial accounting department.
You support the various locations as a knowledgeable contact person and answer questions about salary, social security, and withholding tax.
With your eye for optimisation, you drive the further development of the Abacus software, payroll processes, and time recording interfaces and contribute to projects and HR documentation.
Qualifications:
A completed commercial apprenticeship or a comparable qualification forms your professional foundation.
You bring solid practical experience in payroll administration as well as in-depth knowledge of social security and withholding tax law.
Confident use of Abacus and MS Office is a matter of course for you.
Your structured, efficient, and responsible working style, as well as your initiative and team orientation, convince in everyday work.
You have excellent German language skills.
