If IT is not only to be managed but actively improved, people are needed who combine service understanding and technology. This role offers exactly this combination: customer support, IT operations, troubleshooting, and process development - with an additional perspective on a possible leadership role.
Responsibilities:
Customers & Services
You accompany customers as a reliable contact person for their IT services and understand their technical as well as operational requirements
You coordinate ongoing services, improvements, and further developments and incorporate customer requirements into implementation
You support projects and new service offerings from coordination to introduction
Operations & Troubleshooting
You ensure stable operation of client, server, and application environments
You analyse complex technical faults in 2nd-level support and coordinate the resolution process
You proactively monitor systems and services, detect potential problems early, and initiate necessary escalations
You ensure that technical documentation and instructions remain clear and up to date
Processes & Leadership
You support the further development and optimisation of ITSM processes
If suitable, you can additionally take on responsibility as Team Leader IT and professionally and personally support a team
Qualifications:
You bring several years of experience in IT service management, IT operations, or service engineering
You are familiar with modern Microsoft environments including server, Active Directory, cloud services, and Windows clients
You have experience with backup and restore processes and corresponding solutions
Ideally, you have an IT education or a related degree, for example HF Informatics
Ideally, you have an ITIL certification or are willing to develop further in this area
You have a strong technical understanding and enjoy working operationally yourself
You think service-oriented, act reliably, and find pragmatic solutions even in demanding situations
You are eager to learn and want to continuously expand your professional skills
You communicate very well in German and well in English
