Energy Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

In this role, you actively shape the development and implementation of modern energy projects and support the expansion of sustainable supply solutions. You accompany projects holistically from the initial concept idea through technical planning to successful realisation and handover to customers. You work closely with specialists, partner companies, and internal teams, bringing in your know-how to drive innovative solutions for decarbonisation and efficient energy use.
Responsibilities:
Co-design and further development of the energy technology department as well as building new business areas
Independent planning, management, and implementation of energy projects across all project phases
Development of technical concepts and sustainable solutions for modern energy supply systems
Support of projects from feasibility studies through planning to commissioning
Handling projects in the areas of heating and cooling technology, energy centres, solar technology, small hydropower, and biogas
Preparation of technical concepts, project documents, and decision-making bases
Coordination of collaboration with internal departments, external planners, suppliers, and customers
Support in implementing measures to increase energy efficiency and decarbonisation
Analysis of technical requirements and development of economically viable solutions
Maintenance and expansion of relationships within the energy sector
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a FH/ETH engineer in energy technology or comparable technical education
Initial professional experience in project planning, design, or realisation of energy projects is an advantage
Knowledge in the field of energy systems, supply technology, and sustainable technologies
Experience in the conception and implementation of technical projects with various stakeholders
Interest in topics such as renewable energies, energy efficiency, and decarbonisation
Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for actively shaping new solutions
Independent, structured, and reliable working style with high initiative
Analytical skills and willingness to understand complex technical contexts
Communicative personality with enjoyment in exchanging ideas with customers, partners, and teams
Team-oriented working style and willingness for continuous professional development
Fluent German language skills
