Construction Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced Construction Manager Building Construction / Construction Management for the operational control of demanding construction projects during the realisation phase. You coordinate all contractors on the construction site and ensure the interplay between planning, construction execution and operational requirements. You are responsible for costs, deadlines and quality and take on central tasks in tendering, awarding and billing. Digital tools such as Smino, Dalux, Messerli and MS Project support a structured and transparent project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Independent local construction management and coordination of execution on demanding building construction sites

• Leadership and coordination of contractors, suppliers and other execution participants

• Ensuring interfaces between operations, planning and construction execution

• Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and construction progress

• Preparation of tenders and specifications according to BKP and NPK

• Conducting offer comparisons, award evaluations and award proposals

• Organisation and leadership of construction, contractor and coordination meetings

• Monitoring the professional and contractual execution according to SIA standards and contracts

• Checking quantities, extra work, change orders and contractor invoices

• Management and tracking of schedule and construction progress plans

• Conducting quality controls, acceptance and defect management

• Ensuring complete construction, acceptance and revision documentation

Qualifications:

• Completed basic training as draftsperson EFZ specialising in architecture with further training as construction manager, certified technician HF construction planning or comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in construction management of building construction projects in Switzerland

• Sound knowledge of BKP, NPK, tendering, awarding, measurement and billing

• Confident handling of relevant SIA standards, especially in the context of construction execution

• Knowledge of Smino, Dalux, Messerli and MS Project or willingness to learn

• Experience in cost, schedule, quality and change order management

• Good German language skills, spoken and written
