Our client supports medical facilities in digitalisation and ensures that their IT systems function reliably in demanding practice operations. The scope of tasks ranges from Microsoft infrastructures and network technology to virtual workplaces and security solutions. As a system engineer, you are an important technical contact person for customers, analyse faults, and independently implement appropriate solutions. You support infrastructure projects, collaborate with external service providers, and pay particular attention to data protection and the secure handling of confidential information.
Responsibilities:
Support and ensure the stable operation of IT infrastructure for clients in the healthcare sector
Independent execution of support and service orders via remote access as well as on-site
Technical 2nd-level support for workplace systems, servers, networks, and virtual environments
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft servers, clients, Microsoft 365, and VoIP solutions
Investigation of security incidents as well as installation of updates and patches
Tracking and documentation of support tickets and coordination with external IT partners
Support in customer projects and maintenance of technical system documentation
Participation in on-call duty on a monthly rotation
Qualifications:
Completed IT training EFZ with a focus on platform development or system technology, a degree in computer science, or an equivalent qualification
At least three years of experience in a system engineering role at an IT service company
Good to very good knowledge of Active Directory, group policies, Microsoft 365, networks, and firewalls
Practical experience with Citrix Workspace, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, and Microsoft Azure
Confident handling of Microsoft server and client operating systems
Knowledge of information security and data protection, especially in handling confidential customer data
Independent and solution-oriented working style with strong analytical thinking
High customer orientation, service readiness, and good German language skills
