Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 105,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a design-strong specialist as Architect: Design & Project Development for demanding architecture and building projects. You develop projects from the first concept and design idea through variant studies and materialisation to the building permit process and significantly shape their architectural quality. In doing so, you combine high design standards with building law, functional and economic framework conditions. The position offers long-term professional responsibility and prospectively the opportunity to take on a more advanced role within the architectural field.
Responsibilities:
Development of demanding architecture, design and styling concepts for new, conversion and extension projects
Handling projects from the feasibility study and initial sketch to the construction project and building permit process
Preparation of volume, floor plan, façade and usage concepts taking into account the respective urban and landscape context
Creation and further development of 3D models and CAD/BIM plans with Archicad
Elaboration of material, colour and design concepts for interior and exterior spaces
Conducting variant studies and feasibility checks to optimise design, use and economic efficiency
Review and integration of building law, zoning regulations, distances, utilisation and other permit requirements
Preparation of project, presentation and permit documents as well as visualisations for clients and authorities
Coordination with clients, specialist planners, authorities and other project participants during the early planning phases
Preparation and support of building submissions and permit procedures up to the legally binding project status
Creation and processing of visualisations, presentations and image material with Adobe Photoshop
Participation in the architectural and strategic further development of the project portfolio
Qualifications:
Completed studies as Architect FH/ETH or comparable university education
Several years of professional experience in design, project planning and building permit procedures in Swiss building construction
Extensive expertise in architectural design, spatial design, materialisation and urban integration
Professional user knowledge in Archicad as well as experience in 3D/BIM-based architectural planning
Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and the creation of high-quality architectural presentations
Knowledge of Swiss building and planning law as well as relevant SIA planning phases
Very good German skills spoken and written
