Barista (100%) Café-Bar, Zurich Airport

You love the vibrant atmosphere at Zurich Airport? In our dynamic team, you are the face behind our barista & patisserie counter and spoil our guests with first-class coffee & hot drinks as well as our fine products. You enjoy early and late shifts and keep a cool head and an overview even during busy periods. 

Your tasks include:

• Preparation of various high-quality coffee and beverage specialties
• Ensuring the operation & handling of portafilter machines / coffee machines
• Adherence to our standards for handling all barista skills and mastering latte art 
• You serve and advise our national and international customers, take on service duties if required and work according to our service standards 
• Support and collaboration in the office team at the counter area
• Serving drinks (wine, beer, mineral water, spirits)
• Various cleaning tasks
• Daily replenishment tasks (beverage stock, mise en place, etc.)
• Compliance with quality and product specifications according to given standards
• Compliance with hygiene regulations as well as general tidying and cleaning tasks including care of the coffee machine

• Training as an SCA Barista Professional desirable
• Training in gastronomy as well as several years of professional experience in a similar position 
• High service orientation and enjoyment of working in a lively establishment with international clientele 
• A well-groomed appearance and good manners are a matter of course for you
• Fluent German and English skills, additional foreign languages are an advantage
• Compliance with hygiene standards and HACCP guidelines
• High flexibility regarding working hours (shift work between 5.30 am and 9.30 pm in a 7-day operation)
