Role:

As an Infrastructure Engineer: IaC and Cloud, you design an infrastructure that ranges from your own data centre through hybrid setups to the cloud. Automation is not a side project here. It forms the foundation of every technical decision. With Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), you determine how systems are created, change, and remain secure. Your opinion carries weight, and you keep an overview across all layers during tricky incidents.

Responsibilities:

• You further develop the IaC architecture and build reusable modules for servers, networks, storage, and cloud resources.

• With Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and Bash, you automate system configurations and operational processes reproducibly.

• Furthermore, you design pipelines for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) that cover deployments, tests, and lifecycle processes.

• You advance the container landscape around Kubernetes and integrate it into automated provisioning.

• Additionally, you develop concepts for high availability, recovery, and disaster recovery as well as standards for monitoring and alerting.

• You also embed hardening, compliance checks, and guardrails directly in the code. In critical incidents, you take on technical leadership and test new technologies in proofs of concept.

Qualifications:

• You bring several years of experience in platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering as well as in-depth knowledge of Windows and/or Linux infrastructures.

• You know Terraform in detail. State, providers, variables, and modules are well familiar to you.

• In configuration management, you rely on Ansible and script confidently in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

• Git workflows, your own infrastructure pipelines, and Docker shape your daily work. Kubernetes experience is a clear plus.

• Furthermore, you understand networks in depth, from TCP/IP and DNS through routing to load balancing and firewalls. You have practical experience with virtualisation and hybrid cloud architectures.

• Security by design, secrets management, and observability are also second nature to you. You analyse dependencies between compute, storage, container, and security with sharp analytical skills.
