In this position, you will manage technically demanding investment projects in an industrial environment and accompany customers from the initial needs analysis to successful implementation. You will develop tailor-made machine and automation solutions, prepare economic offers and coordinate the entire sales process in close cooperation with internal departments. Through your technical advice, negotiation skills and customer-oriented support, you will create long-term business relationships and support the sustainable expansion of market potential.
Responsibilities:
Acquisition and support of industrial customers for technically demanding machine and automation solutions
Analysis of customer requirements and development of individual technical solution concepts
Preparation of quotations, cost calculations and profitability analyses
Management and support of the entire sales and project process until successful implementation
Close cooperation with engineering, project management and internal sales for optimal realisation of customer projects
Support during commissioning, handover of systems and after-sales service
Conducting product presentations, technical consultations and contract negotiations
Maintenance and expansion of long-term customer relationships as well as identification of new business opportunities
Qualifications:
Completed technical training or degree in mechanical engineering, automation, electrical engineering or a comparable field
Further training or experience in technical sales, sales engineering or with a business background
Several years of experience in field sales as well as in supporting and acquiring industrial customers
Experience in selling complex investment goods or technical system solutions
Confident appearance as well as pronounced consulting, presentation and negotiation skills
Entrepreneurial thinking as well as an independent, goal- and solution-oriented working style
High customer orientation, initiative and willingness to travel
English, French or Italian language skills are an advantage
Fluent German skills
