Project Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Construction / Project Manager: Building Construction for the independent management and realisation of demanding construction projects. You will take responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and execution and accompany the projects from tendering and awarding to acceptance and handover. In doing so, you coordinate clients, architects, specialist planners, authorities and contractors and ensure a smooth project process. The position combines operational site management with project management and offers a varied field of activity in Swiss building construction.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction and project management of building construction projects in new construction, conversion and extension
Management of construction projects from the tendering and awarding phase to realisation, acceptance and handover
Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and execution status of the assigned projects
Creation, monitoring and ongoing updating of construction programmes, schedules and project budgets
Coordination of clients, architects, specialist planners, authorities, contractors and suppliers
Conducting tenders, bid comparisons, awarding negotiations and awarding proposals
Preparation and control of contracts, amendments, measurements and contractor invoices
Leading construction, project and coordination meetings including minutes and action management
Monitoring construction sites regarding execution quality, construction progress and compliance with planning specifications
Coordination and review of work and execution planning as well as clarification of technical and constructive interfaces
Conducting acceptances and defect management as well as organising handover and follow-up
Ensuring professional project execution in accordance with relevant SIA standards, contract bases and Swiss construction regulations
Qualifications:
Completed technical training as a certified construction manager, certified technician HF construction planning, FH architect or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in construction and project management of building construction projects in the Swiss market
Sound knowledge in tendering, awarding, cost control, scheduling and site management
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss planning and construction processes
Experience in coordinating specialist planners, contractors, suppliers and clients
Confident handling of industry-standard construction administration, scheduling and office software
Fluent German skills spoken and written
