To complete our teams within our Payot SA bookshops, we are looking for Booksellers M/F for various sectors (literature, law/school, English, leisure/tourism, social sciences/personal development, youth/comics/manga, etc.), on permanent or fixed-term contracts, full-time or part-time, to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome, guide and advise our customers,
• Conduct bibliographic research,
• Take customer orders,
• Optimise the assortment and manage stock as well as restocking,
• Purchase new releases from representatives,
• Display and organise your shelves,
• Write recommendations,
• Carry out promotions and commercial operations.

We are looking for people who:

• Have completed bookseller training (CFC or equivalent),
• Have several years of experience in a bookshop (minimum 2 years),
• Are versatile,
• Are commercial, friendly and energetic,
• Have strong interpersonal skills characterised by a marked sense of welcome and quality service,
• Have good active listening skills and are proactive,
• Are curious about new releases and current events,
• Are comfortable with IT tools.
