Cyber security encompasses far more than the technical defence against individual attacks. Sustainable information security arises through clear processes, effective controls, and continuous development of the security organisation. In this versatile position, you combine technical expertise with conceptual thinking and support a modern IT organisation in further expanding its security standards in the long term.
You work on various topics related to information security and accompany both operational and strategic tasks. In doing so, you develop security requirements, support the implementation of protective measures, and contribute your expertise to projects and the further development of the information security management system.
Responsibilities:
Further development and maintenance of specifications, guidelines, and concepts in the field of information security
Definition and review of security requirements as well as support in the implementation of appropriate protective measures
Analysis of security incidents and support in the assessment and follow-up of incidents
Professional support of IT projects with a focus on cyber security and data protection
Participation in the further development of a structured information security management system according to established standards
Monitoring current cyber threats and deriving appropriate measures for the IT organisation
Qualifications:
Completed degree or higher vocational training in computer science, information security, cyber security, or a related field
At least 3 years of professional experience in information security or a comparable security environment
Profound understanding of IT security, security governance, risk management, and ISMS
CISSP or a comparable certification; additional qualifications such as CCSP, CEH, or cloud security certificates are a plus
Analytical and conceptual skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills for technical literature
