Our partner is a renowned industrial company, active in a demanding technological environment and subject to high standards in terms of quality, safety and sustainability. As part of the development of its activities, it places particular importance on occupational risk prevention and the health of its employees. To strengthen its Quality & Sustainability department, it is currently looking for an Occupational Health, Safety & Hygiene Specialist
Your tasks with your new employer
- You are responsible for planning and implementing occupational hygiene measures directly in the workshops and at various workstations, particularly regarding dust, VOCs, noise, light, radiation and heavy metals
- You analyse the results obtained, identify potential risks and ensure the drafting and evaluation of measurement reports
- You work closely with Occupational Health Management to define relevant preventive measures and ensure the follow-up of corrective and preventive actions
- You monitor gas probes and provide your expertise on issues related to chemicals, ventilation, storage, substitution and best practices
- You contribute to the risk assessment associated with industrial processes, substances used, installations and various workstations
- You are involved in monitoring specific topics such as radioprotection, lasers, radiation, dust and volatile organic compounds
- You participate in the analysis of installation plans and projects from the perspective of safety and risk control
- You design and lead awareness and training activities to develop a safety culture within the company
- You take part in the evolution of the integrated management system, notably through risk analyses, procedures, indicators, action plans and audits
- You manage measuring equipment, documentation and data, as well as associated reporting
- You are regularly present on site and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
You offer your new employer
- You hold a diploma as an occupational hygienist or equivalent training in industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, for example as an expert or STPS specialist
- Ideally, you have a higher technical or scientific education, notably in chemistry, biology, process engineering or a similar field
- You have more than 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety, gained in an industrial environment and ideally within a company structured according to ISO standards
- You are able to analyse various occupational risks, prioritise them and implement appropriate preventive measures, particularly regarding chemical and physical risks
- You possess good knowledge of chemistry, toxicology, ventilation and occupational exposure, as well as interpretation of exposure limit values
- You are comfortable with measuring devices and have an interest in metrology and measurement techniques
- Your analytical mind allows you to interpret data, write precise reports and turn your findings into concrete recommendations
- You appreciate cross-functional environments and know how to collaborate with stakeholders of varied profiles, such as occupational health physicians, production or external service providers
- You have excellent command of French and ideally knowledge of English and/or German
