As a coordinating and support body, the General Secretariat supports the activities of the Finance and Mobility Directorate (FIM) services. Attached to the General Secretary of the Directorate, the Directorate's accounting department handles all routine accounting tasks and collaborates in managing the Directorate's payroll. As part of a maternity leave replacement, we are looking for an assistant accountant for a temporary assignment. You will join a committed team and actively contribute to the sound financial management of the directorate by monitoring accounting operations and providing your expertise to the unit's various activities.
Duration
Assistant contract until 31.07.2027
Main mission(s)
Process invoicing and debtor-related operations
Process and enter supplier purchase orders
Process internal invoices
Check and post financial accounting entries
Participate in special tasks assigned to the Directorate's accounting
Generate and check VAT statements
Perform account reconciliations
Participate in the preparation of the closing
Profile
Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or equivalent training
Additional training in accounting is an asset
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a public administration
Dynamic personality with a sense of organisation and teamwork
Autonomy, rigour and accuracy
Ability to integrate into a small team
Proficiency in MS Office tools and knowledge of the Abacus ERP system is an asset
