Senior Network & Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
Do you want to take technical responsibility for demanding ICT projects in the field of network and cyber security and help shape modern security architectures? In this role, you plan and implement powerful solutions, accompany changes from conception to operational handover, and continuously develop existing standards.
You can expect diverse customer projects and technical challenges around modern security concepts. In addition, you support internal departments with complex issues, contribute to the expansion of security services, and share your knowledge with the team and apprentices.
Responsibilities:
Planning and implementation of ICT projects and changes from conception to operational handover
Design, implementation and documentation of network and security architectures
Further development of technical standards, best practices and the security roadmap
Co-design and expansion of managed security services, assessments and awareness offerings
Conducting technical reviews and risk analyses as well as support in complex escalations
Technical support for internal teams as well as sales and presales departments and sharing of expertise
Qualifications:
Completed ICT training; further education at HF level or a comparable qualification is an advantage
Several years of engineering experience in networking and cyber security
Sound knowledge of firewall, switching, WLAN, VPN and network segmentation
Experience with modern architectures such as Zero Trust and SASE; knowledge of Versa Networks is an advantage
Experience with customer projects, technical documentation and implementation of standards
Independent, structured and customer-oriented working style
Very good German skills and good technical English
