ICT System Engineer (m/f/d)

- You develop practical laboratory experiments on current topics in computer science and digital technologies and continuously refine them
- In this role, you operate, automate, and optimise the laboratory infrastructure, especially GPU infrastructure, using Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps approaches
- As an ICT System Engineer, you supervise, coach, and support students professionally during their laboratory and project work
- You gather requirements for practice-oriented teaching and learning content, analyse them, and prepare them appropriately for the target group
- In this role, you actively contribute current technological trends, tools, and methods and help continuously modernise the laboratory environment
- As an ICT System Engineer, you actively shape an innovative and scalable laboratory and training landscape within a modern IT organisation
Qualifications:
- You have a degree in computer science (HF/FH/ETH/Uni), are currently pursuing a corresponding degree, or have completed an IT apprenticeship with relevant professional experience
- You are enthusiastic about modern IT topics and have solid knowledge in security, IT infrastructure, networking, or system engineering
- Ideally, you bring practical experience with Linux, Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Docker, or OpenStack
- You enjoy accompanying, coaching, and supporting students and employees in their development
- You communicate fluently in German and have good English skills in a technical environment
