What I move
- You take on the technical responsibility for the finance and accounting of Baumer Electric AG, as well as other smaller Swiss companies of the Baumer Group as a central service provider.
- Together with a small team, you manage the general and subsidiary ledgers, prepare the monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and OR, and ensure reporting for the group.
- In the complex, export-oriented business, you ensure correct handling and billing of VAT in CH and DE. Of course, you are also well versed in the legal and regulatory requirements in this context.
- You take responsibility for the internal control system (ICS), develop it pragmatically and impactfully, thereby ensuring, for example, an efficient inventory and valuation of our stock or assets.
- A colleague from purchasing has questions? It is natural for you to advise your colleagues and develop good solutions for both sides.
- You always keep an eye on the optimisation potentials you recognise in this central function and take the initiative to address and implement them. You are always aware of being part of an international group.
What it takes
- Successfully completed higher education in business administration with a focus on finance, federally certified expert in accounting and controlling, fiduciary or comparable further education.
- 5 years of experience in a comparable role in a Swiss company with international business; preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Very good knowledge of Swiss accounting according to FER and OR and proficient in topics of ICS, VAT (CH / DE), taxes, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Sound knowledge and many years of experience with SAP (R3/S4Hana) are essential.
- Communicative personality with interdisciplinary interest and fluent in German and English.
