In your role as Application Manager ERP, you take responsibility for the operation, coordination, and further development of the ERP system landscape (SAP or comparable solutions). You are the central contact person between the specialist departments, IT, and external service partners and ensure that the ERP services are operated stably, securely, and in accordance with the business processes of the UPK.

Your Tasks

The central task is to ensure the demand-oriented operation and service quality of the ERP applications used, together with internal business process managers as well as internal and external service providers.

• Support our business process managers in the use of ERP modules in daily business (2nd-level support)
• Advise our business process managers on conceptual change requirements (requirement, change, and test management)
• Define, monitor, and continuously improve service processes (service level and problem management)
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders within the framework of ERP lifecycle management
• Plan and control updates, release deployments, and associated system tests
• Participate in strategic projects and take responsibility for subprojects in the ERP environment
• Create and maintain service process and application documentation in the team with our business process managers
• Co-responsibility or partial responsibility for other applications

Your Competencies

• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable qualification with further education (e.g. business informatics HF/FH)
• Several years of professional experience with ERP systems. Ideally with SAP-FI, -CO, -MM and -ISH as well as with corresponding BI tools
• Knowledge of IT service management (ITIL V3/V4) and project management
• Understanding of business processes in the clinical context (patient management, finance, purchasing, HR)
• Analytical, communicative and structured working style with high personal responsibility
• Good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills advantageous
