Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for project management and further development of production-relevant HVAC infrastructures in an industrial environment. The focus is on the high availability and operational reliability of ventilation, cooling, and other building services systems as well as their continuous technical optimisation. You will lead investment and renewal projects from the concept phase to commissioning and be responsible for costs, deadlines, and quality. Additionally, you will develop long-term infrastructure concepts and roadmaps and work closely with production, facility management, and external specialist partners.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the availability and operational reliability of production-relevant HVAC infrastructures with a focus on ventilation and cooling systems
Planning and managing complex HVAC, renewal, and investment projects from conception to commissioning and handover
Developing technical plant and infrastructure concepts and evaluating variants regarding technology, cost-effectiveness, and energy efficiency
Preparing investment proposals, cost estimates, and decision-making bases for replacement, expansion, and optimisation measures
Responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality controlling as well as early management of project deviations
Organising and further developing preventive maintenance according to TPM principles (Total Productive Maintenance)
Analysing plant condition, lifecycle, and capacity requirements and developing a long-term infrastructure and investment roadmap
Technical optimisation of ventilation, cooling, and supply systems regarding availability, energy consumption, and lifecycle costs
Coordinating planning offices, suppliers, plant constructors, and service providers as well as managing external services
Close collaboration with production, facility management, maintenance, and engineering to coordinate technical requirements and operating windows
Planning and accompanying commissioning, functional tests, and plant acceptance including handover to operations and maintenance
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, SWKI guidelines, safety requirements, and internal technical standards
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training with EFZ in HVAC/building technology
Further education as Dipl. Technician HF Building Technology, Engineer FH Building Technology, or comparable technical qualification
Several years of experience in leading and implementing complex HVAC projects, ideally in an industrial or production environment
Sound knowledge of ventilation and cooling technology as well as understanding of plant availability, operational reliability, and maintenance
Experience in investment planning, cost and schedule controlling as well as knowledge of TPM or preventive maintenance processes
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and SWKI guidelines as well as experience with technical infrastructure and lifecycle projects
Very good German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
