Job Description
As Director, you lead and manage all activities of the Morges Vocational Training Centre (CEPM), an institution bringing together nearly 2,900 apprentices and students in training, more than 170 teachers and lecturers, an administrative team and a technical service. You propose objectives aligned with the department's strategy and translate them into action plans for the entire institution. You unite your teams around the quality of teaching and the success of students and apprentices, while ensuring the professional fulfilment of each collaborator. Representing the institution, you commit to building sustainable partnerships with professional associations as well as economic and academic sectors.
Responsibilities
Plan, direct and coordinate all activities and services of the institution, ensuring a smooth and structured internal organisation as well as optimal use of available resources.
Ensure the quality of teaching, notably through classroom visits, supervise its distribution and monitor students and apprentices as well as compliance with programmes and current legislation.
Ensure the adaptation of the institution’s services to the evolution of training plans and maintain an institutional culture.
Recruit, support and unite the teaching, administrative and technical teams; encourage the development of their skills.
Ensure the dissemination of information within the institution to guarantee clear communication and ongoing dialogue.
Develop and monitor the budget, define priorities and ensure reliable financial management.
Ensure the rational use and maintenance of premises and equipment and propose necessary acquisitions based on needs and technical developments.
- Promote the institution’s image and develop its integration within its economic, social and academic environment, notably by participating in various conferences, commissions and working groups.
Qualifications
- University Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in a field taught at post-compulsory level, complemented by a teaching qualification for secondary level II.
Confirmed managerial experience of several years, acquired in the field of education.
- Proven managerial skills, excellent communication and ease in conflict management, analytical and synthesis capacity, openness to change and innovative projects, ability to develop an institutional culture.
- The CAS in administration and management of training institutions (FORDIF) is desired and will be required if not completed before starting the position.

The Morges Vocational Training Centre (CEPM) focuses on vocational education related to building construction trades, their maintenance and external landscaping. One department is dedicated to green trades. It offers dual education for initial training (AFP, PAI, CFC) and integrated professional maturity. It also has a Technical Higher School in employment for building and external landscaping trades.
