In this role, you take responsibility for the secure operation of complex network and security infrastructures at 3rd-level support. You analyse security-relevant events, identify vulnerabilities, and initiate measures to secure and stabilise the systems. You contribute to the continuous improvement of security policies, processes, and technical solutions. Additionally, you support incident resolution, coordinate escalations, and ensure that agreed service levels are met. With your expertise in ICT network security, you significantly contribute to ensuring a stable and secure environment.
Responsibilities:
You operate the IT infrastructure for managed services customers
You analyse and handle service requests, incidents, problems, and changes
You work closely with the engineering teams
You plan and carry out maintenance work in customer environments as well as internally
You are responsible for the operation of monitoring and event management
Furthermore, you recognise customer needs and forward these to the sales organisation
Qualifications:
You have experience as an IT supporter at 2nd/3rd level or as a system technician
You have expertise in operating and monitoring LAN, WLAN, and firewall infrastructures
You work in a structured, reliable, and solution-oriented manner
You keep an overview even with parallel tasks
You appreciate teamwork and customer contact
You have a good command of German and possess technical English skills
