This industrial company, located in the canton of Neuchâtel, specialises in the manufacture of components and metallic materials intended for applications requiring high precision.
Its activities are based on production facilities combining various mechanical, electrical and automated technologies.
To strengthen its technical organisation, it is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Manager responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, managing the team and supporting projects to develop its production tools.
You will hold a cross-functional role, in direct contact with various industrial departments as well as external technical partners.
Challenges
Your main objective will be to ensure the reliability and availability of a diverse range of industrial equipment, while controlling the resources necessary for its maintenance and development.
Beyond the daily management of your department, you will participate in the transformation and improvement of existing facilities.
You will need to reconcile production requirements, technical constraints and the company’s economic objectives.
This position requires a good understanding of various industrial technologies as well as the ability to organise interventions, coordinate specialists and manage several projects simultaneously.
Your missions
Management & organisation of maintenance
Ensure the operational management of the maintenance service and organise the work of your collaborators.
Determine intervention priorities based on production needs and technical constraints.
Coordinate internal resources and specialised companies working on the facilities.
Support your team in resolving technical issues and encourage the sharing of skills.
Monitor the resources engaged and ensure budgets and deadlines are respected.
Develop an organisation that maintains equipment in optimal operating conditions.
Supervise technical interventions and support the diagnosis of complex malfunctions.
Identify the causes of recurring problems and define actions to limit their impact on production.
Collaborate with operational teams to plan work while minimising activity interruptions.
Manage industrial projects involving several technical specialities.
Organise the different phases of implementation, from needs analysis to the deployment of selected solutions.
Participate in discussions regarding the evolution, adaptation and modernisation of production equipment.
Work closely with the production and methods departments to identify improvement opportunities.
Propose technical developments to increase productivity and control operating costs.
Study possible modifications to existing facilities and coordinate their implementation.
Provide your expertise during technical discussions involving several departments.
Requirements
Profile sought
Engineer or ES technician training in a technical field such as mechanics, electrical engineering, mechatronics or automation, or an equivalent background.
Proven experience in team management, maintenance of industrial equipment and management of technical projects.
Ability to organise, coordinate and supervise a team of specialists.
Multidisciplinary skills enabling intervention on mechanical, electrical, automated and hydraulic issues.
Experience in managing investment or modernisation projects for industrial facilities.
Knowledge of German and/or English.
Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and external partners.
