Application Support Engineer (m/f/d)
ROCKEN® has significantly simplified the application process with its digital recruitment solution and thus sets a new, uniform standard. We connect talents, experts, and professionals throughout Switzerland. Our network of established companies is made available on our ROCKEN® Talent Platform.
The IT department at our partner consists of application development and system engineering. Around 30 dedicated employees work in both areas. The goal of the work is to provide high-quality services for the members, customers, and sister companies (national and international) of our partner. To meet this task in the future, the system landscape is continuously changed and adapted to the latest requirements. Additionally, a multi-year restructuring of the system architecture and the corresponding applications is underway.

Responsibilities:
Ensuring the stable operation of a central, data-intensive application
Analysing, prioritising, and resolving technical incidents and errors in the application environment
Coordinating and collaborating with internal departments, external partners, and technical teams
Creating, maintaining, and further developing reports and evaluations based on various data sources
Automating and optimising operational and support processes through modern scripting and DevOps methods
Qualifications:
Completed studies in Computer Science (ETH/University/FH/HF) or equivalent qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in application support or a comparable technical environment
Very good knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Shell Scripting as well as experience with Ansible
Practical experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated deployment processes
Fluent German skills and good English skills in spoken and written form
Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate or work as a cross-border commuter
