The Vaud Youth Assistance Centre (CVAJ) is an association serving the children and young people of the canton of Vaud. Its complementary mission to public action aims to contribute to promoting child and youth assistance. As part of the ongoing structuring and strengthening of the administrative system in the HR field, the CVAJ is looking for:
An HR and Secretariat Manager at 80% (Permanent Contract) and an HR and Secretariat Manager at 50% (Fixed-term Contract up to 2 years)
Your main duties:
- You are the essential partner of the HR department management. You support it and fully participate in the administrative management of all activities and tasks related to the HR field and the CVAJ secretariat. You are also the resource person for the General Management regarding all administrative management of the Committee or any other assigned mission.
- You ensure all administrative tasks, including salary coordination, linked to the life cycle of CVAJ employees in strict compliance with policies, procedures, processes, regulations, and directives.
- You provide information to CVAJ staff regarding HR questions, guide them, and manage mailboxes and telephone calls.
- You manage the working time software for all CVAJ staff, social insurances, and the second pillar.
- You contribute to all types of HR processes, projects, and administrative management.
- You manage, in close collaboration with General Management, all matters concerning the administrative management of the Committee and participate in meetings (one evening per month; as a substitute within the fixed-term contract).
Your profile:
- Commercial employee CFC or equivalent qualification.
- HR manager certificate.
- Proven experience in a similar position of at least 4 years.
- Proven experience in salary and social insurance management of at least 4 years.
- Proven experience in technical and HR management of working time software (Tipee is an asset).
- Proven experience in the associative sector and in applying the Collective Labour Agreements for Childcare and Social sectors.
- Proven experience in establishing salaries via scales and according to the seniority system.
- Recognised ease in taking and drafting minutes.
- Excellent knowledge of HR management legal and regulatory processes and frameworks, labour law, and CLA mechanisms.
- Excellent command of MS Office tools, an HR ERP, recruitment channels, payroll software (MS2000, Crésus are assets), and working time management software (Tipee is an asset).
- Excellent writing and spelling skills.
- Versatility, ability to manage unforeseen events, very well structured and organised.
- Strict discretion regarding confidential matters.
- Rigour in applying legal and regulatory texts.
- Diligence, efficiency, and sense of priorities.
- Appropriate attitude and interpersonal skills in an HR context.
- High autonomy and flexibility.
- Good interpersonal skills, listening and communication quality, ability to adapt to interlocutors and circumstances.
- Excellent stress resistance.
- Clean criminal record.

Start date: immediately or to be agreed.
