We are looking for a technically skilled DevOps Engineer for the operation and further development of modern container and platform technologies. The position combines Kubernetes and OpenShift with Linux, automation and professional incident and change management.
You work in an agile environment and ensure the availability as well as the continuous optimisation of the platforms. In addition to technical analysis, your responsibilities also include the structured handling of changes and incidents as well as collaboration with various teams.
Responsibilities:
Administration and further development of Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms throughout their entire lifecycle
Ensuring the stable operation of hybrid container environments as well as performing performance optimisations
Analysis of incidents and complex problems and implementation of sustainable solutions
Coordination and technical implementation of changes within defined operational processes
Handling Jira tickets and coordinating tasks with the product owner and team
Participation in agile work processes and planning meetings within the team and the ART
Qualifications:
Several years of experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes in productive environments
Very good Linux knowledge, ideally in the RHEL environment
Good experience with Ansible and automated operational processes
Knowledge of Oracle Forms, ADF and WebLogic Server
Basic know-how in network, storage, security and system operation
Practical experience with monitoring and ITSM solutions such as Splunk and ServiceNow
Knowledge of ITIL as well as agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe
Independent, structured and reliable working style
Strong team skills and experience in agile working environments
Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
