Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the construction management of conversion and renovation projects in the private residential sector. You advise customers on construction-related issues and are responsible for organising and supervising projects from work preparation to acceptance. In doing so, you coordinate craft businesses, suppliers as well as kitchen and bathroom planning and ensure compliance with cost, schedule and quality requirements. The focus is on efficient implementation of kitchen, bathroom and interior conversions in occupied and existing buildings.
Responsibilities:
Independent construction management of conversion, renovation and refurbishment projects in the residential sector
Technical and construction-related consultation of customers as well as clarification of feasibility and execution options
Planning, organisation and supervision of construction and renovation work from preparation to handover
Coordination of contractors, craft businesses, suppliers as well as kitchen and bathroom planners
Responsibility for compliance with costs, deadlines and quality standards
Creation and monitoring of construction programmes, schedules and workflows
Conducting site inspections and coordination meetings as well as follow-up on outstanding work
Coordination of interfaces between sanitary, electrical, carpentry, tiling, painting and other finishing trades
Review of quotes, measurements, invoices and change orders as well as support with awarding contracts
Use of construction administration software such as Messerli for cost and project documentation
Conducting acceptance and defect inspections as well as monitoring timely defect rectification
Ensuring complete construction documentation and project handover
Qualifications:
Completed basic vocational training EFZ in main or finishing construction trades, ideally supplemented by further training as a construction manager
Several years of experience in construction management, conversion or renovation sector in the Swiss market
Sound knowledge in interior finishing, refurbishment and coordination of various finishing trades
Experience in cost, schedule and quality control as well as quote and invoice verification
Knowledge of construction administration software such as Messerli is an advantage
Good German language skills spoken and written
Driving licence category B
