Committed to quality public service, the City of La Chaux-de-Fonds is looking for a
Architectural Technician 70% - 90%
Your mission / You are responsible for analysing building permit applications, advising applicants and architects, and conducting site inspections and compliance checks of constructions. You verify the building rights of projects and participate in drafting opinions related to construction law. You also monitor non-compliant or illegal constructions and take necessary measures to ensure their conformity with applicable regulations. You advise various stakeholders on authorisation procedures, building permits, and construction law, and manage the administrative follow-up of files related to these activities. In the field of public health, you help identify problematic situations and report them to the relevant services or specialists. You also support the service teams in the revision of the local zoning plan and compliance visits regarding fire prevention.
Your profile / Personal skills / You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a building draughtsperson, a technician diploma ES in work planning, an architect diploma, or an equivalent qualification. You have good technical knowledge in the building sector and are comfortable reading and understanding plans and building regulations. Experience in processing building permits using the SATAC software is an asset. Comfortable in contact with various publics, you demonstrate autonomy and initiative while appreciating teamwork. You have good analytical and synthesis skills, especially for drafting opinions and compliance visit reports. Organised and rigorous, you have a sense of priorities and can handle periods of high activity.
Desired start date / 1st March 2027 or by agreement.
